Probably won't then. For me it grabbed me right off the bat, from the opening quote, to the CGI introduction, and finally with Grigori's first lines. After that, which is the first fifteen minutes, I knew I had to see it through.
No harm no foul, if it didn't hook you that's cool, but if the opening didn't nothing after will most likely, so cut your losses.

I enjoyed it a lot, despite some issues with the portrayal of the vampires and a few nitpicks with the storytelling. I'm hoping there will be a prequel about Remmick since it's apparent throughout that he was a musician that was at some point manipulated into what he became.
He's the Sauronman to the Sauron. Then again, maybe that's the point? That you never see the true evil.
