Yes they’re good. I’d say the major criticism is that the first book is an obvious hunger games clone however it was forced on by the publisher. As soon as he got a book deal, the author threw that shit out of the window and then book 2 onwards is a space opera and a lot more mature.

Wrong. All the new POVs are more interesting than Darrow. Darrow suffers from Gary Stu at times and the other POVs are great for worldbuilding.
