You see, there's this concept called "dead weight"
When something falls on it's own, with zero opposition to gravity
To that, add the weight distribution, and you'll see that Imari's weight probably "feels heavier", even if Nagi's is the one that really weights more
You can make the experiment in your own home
Compare the "weight feeling" between a singular piece, and it's equivalent in smaller pieces inside of a container with irregular shape
A good example would be a heavy dumbell, versus a fuckload of rocks inside of a potato bag, or whatever
It doesn't matter if you are extra careful to ensure they weight exactly the same, the bag with the rocks will feel heavier, because the rocks are moving everywhere with every step you take
>tldr: gravity is a bitch, so more items on your back, equal more tired
