Just make an archon quest about the Night realm, a problem with the Archon (even tho it was used for every nation but mondstad), maybe internal strife with the tribes, or an ancient dragon woke up and tried to activate the fusion device or whatever in ockanatlan, OR tried to Krakatoa the volcano... It would have been much more sound without the impending war with the abyss.

Well depends on how in need you are for a piece that fits your needs.
Of course that is a scam like 80% of the so called "quality of life" improvements by hoyo, maybe I suggest to save resources for that time that you may desperatly need something working.
For example I got a late Mavuika and used her in the previous abyss, that I was struggling with. Since the resin went for her levels and talents (also her R1, did not prefarm either), I crafted a crown so i could pick a goblet somewhere else and I did the abyss in time.
