You can link files by the way. Saves people navigating to a new thread or opening a new tab. Copy the URL of the file instead of the post number itself.

Some have argued that linkposting this way should be a bannable offense however the letters on the screen aren't NSFW. People choose to click or hover over a link, and the URL shows which board it came from (red/blue). Thus, it's allowed.

the real question is: why does hover to view work on internal webm links but not on internal mp4s?
