Hate is a bit strong. It's a conflict of motivation. When you're in charge you just want to get the shit done in a way that doesn't get you yelled at the next morning. When you're not, you want to evade any and all work because it's not your problem if something doesn't get done.
I don't hate them for it, it's a shit-ass wagie job I hate working hard too. They just don't realize or don't care that we could all be slacking off if we just did the work quickly.
