Ah yeah I thought you meant QC issues, I agree the weathering isn't ideal but I've been mad about that specific problem ever since the running change that removed the good weathering on the 2008 animated clone troopers, and it's basically never improved since then, so I'm mostly resigned to it at this point.

The '06 scout is absolutely not a bad base, obviously the articulation is outdated but they absolutely nailed it visually, and it's my 'definitive' scout until they do an actual all-new one that doesn't look like garbage; that aside, though, I think the biggest issue lies in that they tried to mate new tooling to a 20+ year old initial design, which is just completely stupid when they're not even using the same methodology as back then. Theoretically, retools of the shoretrooper legs and the stormtrooper hips should go better, since those are more recent initial designs, but after the stormtrooper lost range of motion in the knees in exchange for rocker ankles, I still really don't trust that to work out well either.
>the Aldhani trooper was inaccurate
Technically true but also technically false, from what I've heard they were originally supposed to have the leg armor but then it got broken in shipping to where they filmed aldhani, so they dropped it, so while they're inaccurate to aldhani specifically, they're probably accurate to how they're supposed to look, and how they'll look if the trooper's ever seen anywhere else. Regardless, they're never gonna kneel super well with the long shirt, but they pose well aside from that, so I'd still really rather just hurry up and get the ferrix troopers and mudtroopers with these legs. I hope for your sake they eventually put out a better-articulated shoretrooper, but I really don't think I'd personally buy into that, especially at current/future pricing versus what I paid for getting a bunch of the previous 4-packs.
