When I played No Mans Sky it was an interesting experience
Aside from the depth of build creativity, marching cube splatting voxel's, beautiful HDR colors, art style and design, MUSIC!, Sean leading, 4K, high fps, fun story, it was ENDLESS!
An entire Galaxy with millions of stars, each with multiple worlds, moons, stations, near endless variety
TEEMING WITH "LIFE"!
And beyond
MULTIPLE GALAXIES!

But the "life", when studied at its margins, and beyond into the core, you find is hollow
It is on rails
Automatons
Limited reaction response to stimulus spread out and masked with variety of exterior beautiful design
No self choice
Complexity so small the path can easily be traced backwards, mapped and gamed
A single chess piece, repeated endlessly on a small number of holes on the game board
Not a chess board assembled of parts, that are they themselves made from multiple other boards, that are assembled from parts made from boards...and beyond
Board-Ception leads to mass complexity
