if they wanted to invest money into it by advertising, getting streamers on contract, etc. then they could probably carve out at least somewhat of a market share, but I imagine it's an uphill battle and not worth it for them just based on how long youtube and twitch have been around.
Most of their broadcasting infrastructure
is just used by game devs to advertise or for them to stream counter-strike/dota majors or whatever (and even for those they don't mind the hosts streaming on yt and twitch)
