Holy FUCK, I just realized that Skirk's quest and the story of Surtalogi is actualy a parallel of Genshin Impact.
Surtalogi is MiHoYo training alongside a companion (Kuro Games) until they managed to ascend to a higher plane and escape Teyvat (their games managed to breach the sphere of gacha gaming and Chinese games into international acclaim).
Before they left, they left Kuro Games a gift in the form of the All-Devouring Narwhal (Tectone).
Kuro Games was only able to sew a piece of the heart to themselves (Saintontas).
They're now crossing the sea of stars (making other gacha games).
HoYo is so strong they have to make their own Skirk (Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero).
