Yeah, gaming journalism has always been full of shit, like even going back to the days of Nintendo Power, those guys had to do spreads and talk up every single game no matter how crap it was. GMR and Game Informer were were similar, but on the opposite side of things where they wouldn't give Nintendo cred for shit and would endlessly talk up dead on arrival crap like the Vita or Kinect.

Something nobody talks about anymore, is the fact that Atari actually, provably paid off critics for good reviews of Driv3r to boost themselves in the industry. All of this information is continually pushed to the side and any talk of gaming journalism being corrupt is seen as conspiratorial.

It's important to not trust websites like IGN.
