I’m a Christian. I go to church. I’ll be getting married in a church. But I don’t think my flavor of faith makes me better than anyone else, and I don’t use the Bible to try and justify my actions or lack thereof.
You treat the Bible as a convenience. The only reason you don’t show your face in a church is the profound shame you feel about how you live.

A thought just occurred: remember when “the internet is srs bsns” was a common refrain? Ie: those who took shit that happened online too seriously deserved mockery?
Nowadays we have people who spend their whole lives plugged in, thinking they’re sticking it to le heckin Nazis on /pol/ or xitter or what have you, and people treat what happens online as life or death.
What happened? Was it just normies? Social media?
