Legend of Mana.
Beautiful visuals and music and I like how open and non-linear it is.
The main story is simple and takes a backseat to the side characters and their stories which is a nice change of pace when it comes to RPGs.
The combat however is boring, attack variety is minimal and most skills and spells are a waste of time, basic attacks are overpowered to the point that you can stun-lock literally everything by just doing uppercut over and over and the only positive thing about combat is that it doesn't drag on.
