i walked across my house and the bathroom light was on. i was sure i shut it off. so i kept walking toward it until i was in the bathroom, and the moment i looked at the lightbulb it turned itself off. i then turned the switch back on and the light came on. but the light was somehow on even though the wall switch was off. its an old house, no fancy "smart" bulbs etc. the strange part is how me observing the light bulb made it cut off 0.05 seconds later.

Why do airplane trails last for hours but comet trails for 1 second? Doesn't make much sense if you ask me. I don't believe a comet's tail is just offgassing

alright im about to read my first book. what's the best book in the entire world to read? non-fiction only.

it is absolutely impossible for me to think a single thought without it being in english. i do not like that. i want to think "beyond language". anyone else have this problem? i can not think at all without it being in english, no exaggeration. it is very limiting. does thinking "beyond language" even exist? some people claim they do, but are they just lying to self glorify themselves?
