I'm a big Tekken fan (or was, before 8) but what the latest game did with Heihachi and the story in general makes the entire franchise's narrative into kusoge nonsense that means nothing and all characters have no meaning or significance beyond selling DLC products to customers. Even if you were to take that smouldering pile of shit seriously, Heihachi is still actually a fucking joke in the lore but is still looked upon favourably by players because of some basic presentation that makes him look masculine. But if you actually pay attention to what he does and what happens to him, he's a worthless fucking pathetic loser.
>Jobs to his son
>Comes back and beats his son (this is the only time in the entire franchise he beats a major character)
>Jobs to his grandson who was trained by a single mom who was an ecologist
>Jobs to his son a second time
>Jobs to his grandson a second time
>Jobs to his son a third time and definitively fucking dies for good
>Bandai Namco haven't shaken enough coins out of his pockets yet so they bring him back from the dead, permanently destroying the lore of Tekken for a few thousand DLC character sales
>His story episode to show off his return was received so badly it made Namco cancel any future plans for story DLC
jobbing old fuck
