Pretty much. Butcha took a lot from the classics. Same big picture situation as Alien (the ## spolier ## is straight up lifted from Alien), the space segment at the begining reminds me of Event Horizon, the main antagonist behaves like a sex terminator, and many more elements that i might have missed at the time. Inspiration from The Thing must be in there too, but this is a film i never watched so i can't confirm.

>is the Lustry prision story as good as SV?
Injuu Kangoku's story was good for its time, but i don't know if it holds up. It's a 14 years old game with no official english translation after all. Not to mention i haven't completed a run in years. I don't even remember exactly what happens to the plot during the middle portion of the game. In these conditions judging the quality of its story by current standards is difficult. But if you're the type to love your old 90' flicks, Injuu Kangoku might be worth a try.

Fine, but archetypal. They have less depth than the SV squad in therm of personality, but they get to do cool shit.
