a PS6 ($700), 8 years of PSN bare essential ($80 x 8 = $640), 8 years of electricity ($3 x 12 x 8 = $288) would total cost $1628.
a PC equivalent rig with a RTX 5070 definitely uses more electricity than a PS6 most likely double so $6 a month, so 8 years of electricity use for a PC rig would run you around $576.
So you could MAYBE build a PS6 equivalent for $1000.
With a PC rig, your gaming rig is also your standard work PC.
So console gamers would have to shell out an extra $300 for a work laptop.
So it would actually be cheaper to build a PC rig...
BUT if I'm buying a PS6 to play F2P games, I pay $0 for online play, so the PS6 wins in terms of cost.
For whatever reason, it's NOT cheaper nor more expensive to buy a PC rig over a PS6.
