If I remember correctly they have a really high rate of obesity in the US too. Hope you'll enjoy it too, the Calusa are neat in their own little ways too. From what I remember they had a reputation for being really tall(for the times at least) too.
I hope it'll turn out well, I'd be happy to hear any updates in the future. Also I didn't know they could get pica, but it makes sense. Hopefully she didn't eat any of your cardboard furniture. My dog is actually about the same age, still nice and active too. I was told he was supposed to calm down by this age, but he really hasn't B^). Sphinx cats are pretty involved as far as their care goes, isn't it? Never even saw an oriental shorthair before but they've got such a nice and goofy look to them. I thought they were gonna be more like a manul or something like that -- a hybrid of an oriental cat species. Have you ever owned any of the hypoallergenic cats before?
