Sadly the weakest of the trio despite its potential (not that it was a bad show), but most of my issues with the season lie with the villains and the rushed final arc.
Thankfully the cast was together from early on, so it allowed them all to have interactions with each other throughout the entire run similar to TR, and felt the closest knit compared to the others. Mofurun was very precious and her flashbacks with Mirai as a child got me emotional at times as it brought back memories of my childhood, but she unfortunately felt like she was playing second fiddle to the Cure trio at times.
The various Cure forms were a nice addition, although outside of Topaz they were just palette swaps outside of their finishers, and it was a missed opportunity to not give Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald elemental based regular attacks.
The villains were the biggest fumble in my opinion just because of how much of nothingburger they were despite how many of them there were, and the fact that some of my favorite VAs were voicing them made it sting even more. Batty was the only one who really had much development, While having 8 generals was a novel concept, they didn’t do anything of note. I don’t think much would have been lost if the equivalents from both sides were combined into one character each.
