I did because it was advertised to me with Knigga, Apple, TTT, Getian, Pickles and Barbara. This doesn't mean that I was expecting all characters to be like this and I saw plenty of more humanlike designs, but it is a significant draw for people who don't just want another Genshin copy, literal waifu collector or anything like that. And a gacha not relying on the coom factor (male or female, doesn't matter) already seemed impossible, I just had to give it a try, so I'm happy to report that it's somehow working.
