Yeah. I'll announce when I do. I am not sure if I will try and do the sea people and then release or release as is, which is right now Canaanites/Hittites/Greeks/Trojans with the Trojans being WIP. I had not done the bodyguard units yet, and I haven't done thorough bug checking yet. I saw earlier that there's mystery niggas for one of the Mycenaean units having no bodies.I'll hop in and try and take one of the Hittites and Mycenaeans, although I was struck by how the mycenaeans feel a bit 'samey'. Or just not as distinct I had expected. But it may be the prevalence of bronze.

\I'm a real bootleg-ass frankenstein eastern european garage mechanic kinda texturer. If I was smart I would have watched tutorials on how to do stuff from scratch but my eye is on factory mass production rather than bespoke. So I'll piggyback off CA's existing stuff, find stuff they forgot or abandoned or kitbash into unique usage. So for example the quilted vests are the 'cowhide runner' aegean armor with bits trimmed off. Then a belt stolen from another model to cover up the middle gap, and a rather shitty quilting I put on it but which looks nice. The 'aketon' like gear is actually one of those blue and gold Paris archer armors with the shoulderpad removed, the cloth blankified to allow for simple geometric patterns for decoration and the bronze chestpiece and scales replaced with quilted stuff.

Another thing with the heavy armor is my thinking of "You see the cheap, shitty rank and file guys more often than the elites - so they should look more varied/detailed". Which is why I did an ass load of wicker and hide shields. Because when every single levy unit has the exact same 3 shields it takes you out of that immersion.

The workshop's main mods are radious, immersive unit reskin, agony (which seems to be the main overhauls for it and troy). I think there may be some others out there but I haven't heard of them. Seems like a brain drain right now, and funnily enough Troy is the one with a bigger project I know of (The one adding the Gods and shit).

I am working on a reskin because texturing/model editing is basically miniature painting for me (but it costs nothing and I like sharing content). Haven't released it yet, I was going to after doing Canaanites+Hittites but I hit a snag on Phrygians for Hittites and shifted to work on Greeks and Trojans. So probably after them.

I'm going to look into lua-scripting to see how difficult it is to swap region owners and spawn armies because I really like the idea of a 740 BC mod. My thinking was:
>First do a reskin
>If not bored then a "Homerized world" where everybody resembles the age of Homer (8th century) in units and to an extent in visuals (So you'd get some Archaic Greek shit for the Greeks, but they also reference older stuff like 'mitres' (hanging skirt metal armor a'la dendra) and boar tusk helmets).
We're frankly already at this stage because CA uses 700-600 BC material for the Mesopotamians.
>Then if still going, try and 740BC-ify the map
>Then if able, learn how to script in Scythian invasions.
But I am skipping ahead to try and test out LUA scripting to make sure that's even plausible for my grug-ass to do. The whole shift of discord for communication has made ferreting out info/guides an absolute chore though. And given my commitment issues, one manning this, and if it's M3 or Pike and shot next I'll shift gears to that I can't promise I'll get it done. Worst case is I just dump the reskins on the workshop and say 'go nuts'.
