i meant interested in me romantically, not in general. i don't expect adoration or affection from just... friends, or people i meet and hang out with. i don't even *always* expect it from people i get involved with romantically, just had a strange streak lately of people who aren't really affectionate at all despite showing clear romantic interest/desire to be intimately close.
