Y'shtola not having red in her color identity minimizes my desire to play her in lower bracket games, lore be damned.
Most lists of her are Esper goodstuff/combo slop piles because it's hard to get 4 cards a cycle and not focused down against a half-decent pod. A lot of esper commanders do goodstuff better.
Red has a lot of group slug effects and draw. Y'shtola lacking red is like trying to play counterspell tribal without blue.
