Search #seju on Twitter and Japs are all fuming/laughing at how incompetent they are. Most seem to agree that although Maya's behavior wasn't great, the blame can be placed on the agency that has been fostering her career since she was still a JK (Where were they to look after their talent? Why didn't they try to shield her? Shouldn't they take responsibility for not teaching her how to be a professional?).
And also, apparently the Imamori Maya fanclub won't be able to be viewed after today, and annual members are being told to eat shit and that they won't be receiving partial refunds for the time left on their plans. Same for various Super Sentai event tickets, Toei won't issue refunds even though people bought them to see the advertised Maya appearances that are cancelled.

Same thing as Maya, she was caught drinking alcohol. Actually it was worse as she was truly underage drinking since she was 17 (Maya is literally 6 months from turning 20). A friend accidentally posted a photo of her sipping a beer and her agency, 01familia, got out in front of it right away. She was part of #Mooove! but they kicked her out of the unit, made her issue an apology, and then she wasn't heard from for a year. Zeroichi didn't drop her, but she was quietly on hiatus. Announced a slow resumption of her activities last week, actually.
