Do you lads think that people will begin to quietly carry a knife? I mean normal people, women, for if they *really* need to defend themselves?

The reality is that anything can happen now, and does every day, and the authorities won't be any good. The average man around you won't be any good either, he will just stick to the programming to avoid getting in trouble himself, or he is a coward to begin with. Does he say anything, let alone DO something? No, so a lot of people might decide to carry a legal length non-locking blade and take their chances with a "good reason" for having it, don't you think? We could be heading into a world of middle class knife stashing.
