If you look at the World Championships and Olympics in Freestyle Wrestling and Judo, the Japanese are always Medalists in Bronze, Silver and Gold from the lowest divisions up until ~Middleweight and sometimes above in both genders.. Why is there such few MMA fighters from Japan? Especially females, there'ss some guys like Taira, Tsuruya, Kyoji etc, but they have no background in Wresting and stuff
