A lot of the major games that were heavily marketed to Westerners and that are generally associated with the system now didn't come out until 96 or later. Just to give you an idea:

>FF7, FF Tactics, Gran Turismo, Crash 2, SOTN, Tekken 3, Oddworld

>RE2, MGS, Crash 3, MediEvil, Spyro
>1999
>Driver, THPS1, RE3, FF8, Silent Hill
And there were a few more games in 2000 as well. Compared to that list, 1994-1995 had very few major releases.
