>Now I wonder if US wanted to push Ukraine into accepting a ceasefire in order to refocus on Iran and China?
Yes. The US doesen't have the production capacity nor the stocks to sustain two wars at the same time, even if they're just proxy wars (1 in Ukraine, 1 in Israel). If they actually have to get involved, the situation's even more drastic.
The decapitation strike angle failed, and if Iran devolves into a protracted war (which it looks like, especially since Iran's not blowing their load and doing smaller strikes more often), the US is gonna have to choose whoever to support.
You could technically see this coming with how hard the US pushed the "EU is gonna have to do this since we won't" narrative, except instead of Trump owning up to promises, you just know it was just globohomo cooking Iran instead.
This itself in perspective puts Trump's posts in perspective, not as rage or anger, but the dying cries of a country that is trying (and failing) to maintain hegemon status and having to resort to threats or piss negociations to buy time for itself.
That's my take on it at least, enjoy the song.
