I've preferred Eastern designs since the early 1990s. Long before there was even this whole western vs eastern fight or before I even knew what anime was. I just noticed that certain NES/SNES games and certain cartoons looked different from others. And I liked them. Later in the mid 90s I learned it was Japanese. And it all made sense.
