Cost of everything is exploding here beyond reasonable control, that I have no answer for. Operating costs are so bad that employers cant afford to pay their employees so theyve been lobbying the govt for infinity Indians who'll accept borderline zero pay and terrible treatment unlike natives. Landlords and the housing industry love the Indians too because they can scam the fuck out of them with cartoonishly high rents no sane native would subject themselves to.
The lack of jobs largely comes down to covid bullshit, numerous mom & pop businesses died out and other industries never recovered.
The job market got halved and operating costs went thru the roof and then the flood gates got turned on for Indian labour. The government and every political party in the country is for this, notice how they go out of their way to call as little attention to it as possible. If they have to bring it up they'll say we have 'too much immigration' as if we're seeing German cashiers, African bank tellers and Russian mechanics, no its all just Indians and nobody else. But they'll do everything they can to avoid mentioning it.
