Look how big India would be today in terms of geographical area if the Raj hadn't been split due to Hindu-Muslim mutual distrust and sometimes outright hatred.

Out of curiosity, do Indians today feel like India today is deprived, like deprived of geographic area or space and of the resources the extra territory would provide, because of the India-Pakistan breakup? Also, do Indians today tend to regret that the British Raj had to split upon independence or are most Indians now fine with India's current borders and much reduced territorial range.

I'm just curious about India. It literally is, and probably quantifiably so, the most complex single country on earth in terms of its geography (India has far more distinct geographical zones than the USA which is three times its area) and its cultural makeup and socioeconomic layers.
India is no simple place. Rather, it's likely the most complex place on earth. This alone makes India worth deep study and investigation so that we can learn about the effects that enormous complexity has on society and individual people.
