Don't worry, you'll never trigger S3-2 in MD anyway since it needs a given number of Gaze/Contempt among enemies, and you're hard locked by the amount of hits you deal or take (you're also blocked from inflicting more Gaze until a set number of Gaze/Contempt is on the field) and MD fights end in 2 turns.
