In all seriousness, why did they have to make him so embarrassingly pathetic? Just having him be nonplayable is one thing but did they have to really make him look so weak too? They even made it that he couldn't tell us anything about Dainsleif because his rank was too low for him to talk to him (and Dain himself isn't even that impressive now in comparison to the witches/shades/sinners being introduced). How did a rotting zombie end up as #1 next to a literal Moon Goddess and a self replicating genius that can create gods anyways?

Then wouldn't it still have been better to make him look formidable, to make it seem like her battle with him had meaning? Especially if he was just gonna be unplayable, why not have him be an actual worthy opponent that Mavuika struggled against instead of just having him admit multiple times he lost and ran?
