Britain, Germany and France want to deploy their troops on the territory of Ukraine as part of the settlement of the military conflict with Russia. This was announced on Tuesday, August 19, by US President Donald Trump.

According to the head of state, European countries are "going to be proactive" in providing security guarantees to the Ukrainian side. He added that there should be no problems with Russia in this regard. The President also expressed hope that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin would "be good" and would not hinder the achievement of peace.
