I get that it looks bad. It actually took me about 10–20 games to get used to it, but now I can’t go back - I legit can’t play without it. It’s just so much easier to manage CDs when it’s closer to the middle of the screen instead of looking down.
I also play on a yuge screen and probably too close - my UIs in XIV and WoW were set up in a similar way in concept.
