(if democrats do end up backing down it would be pretty funny but it doesn't look like that) (it's not opening immediately as the house needs to fly back and some of the more radical dems in the senate can make the process painful)

no bully
i actually reported a few people on bluesky to his office a few months ago when there were multiple death threats and people plotting together (he voted on the BBB i think or maybe it was a CR and democrats were fuming)
it also doesn't help that lepage is a very strong (and funny) (and old) challenger. although he probably would have won again, especially with it being midterms

nope, that's incorrect! what is correct, however, is that subhuman drug smugglers are constantly being blown up and that won't change anytime soon!
if anything it's going to increase in pace! make sure to come back when trump bombs venezuela, colombia, and mexico!

i think VA will be mostly disappointing (self-inflicted by the VA GOP) and NJ has a chance to surprise (i'm still leaning towards a loss, but you never know) (it's definitely going to be close)
i'll also be watching the NYC mayoral race because some people think the race is tightening

yes, nigel has most definitely moved rightward himself on immigration recently
and he's trying to concoct a plan that is palatable to the general british public, something that is very hard
(note: despite you calling him squishy on immigration, practically every single media outlet in the UK is calling him a racist fascist pig who hates browns)

japanese election today, should be interesting
also in the article
>"I am attending graduate school but there are no Japanese around me. All of them are foreigners," said Yu Nagai, a 25-year-old student who said he voted for Sanseito.
>"When I look at the way compensation and money are spent on foreigners, I think that Japanese people are a bit disrespected," Nagai said.

anon the big problem is that it will be very hard to get 60 votes in the senate. democrats have no reason to vote for these types of bills (why would they vote to change something that helps them get elected?)
the best bet for these bills is one of two scenarios
1. republicans abolish the filibuster because with the composition of the senate republicans will most likely be in power for a long time
2. do not abolish the filibuster and instead play the waiting game, the senate roadmap is very favorable for republicans and hope that at some point you get close to 60
hey someone needs to takeover baking btw

>actively taking sniper fire RIGHT NOW
>multiple agencies on scene
>they are going to neutralize the suspect asap
>that's all they know
>don't know how many suspects, could be multiple
>FBI is coming with mass firepower to help neutralize the shooter(s)

1. texas passed a law requiring porn sites to verify the age of users. to keep it simple (there's more to it but this is all you need to know) it's whether this law is a first amendment violation and what level of scrutiny should be applied to the law to find out whether it is constitutional or not
2. redistricting has become a shitshow because of terrible supreme court decisions a year or two ago
this is a very complicated case because of procedural history, but tl;dr
>LA has a MAGA map
>LA is sued because people allege it discriminates against minorities by putting all minorities in one district
>LA loses, map gets stuck down
>LA passes a new map with two nigger districts to comply
>white people sue because they say the race was solely made on the basis of blacks
3. a maryland school district requires all students to participate in tranny shit and does not allow students to back out (even if strong religious beliefs against it). students are suing based on first amendment violation

this is VERY funny considering the biden admin ignored pakistan over and over and over
(they knew it was over for imran khan or rather they wanted him arrested)
And the Israeli air force is shooting down Iranian drones over Syria (a difference from last year: Israel has uncontested freedom of action in Syrian airspace)
