Some of these "kremlins" were built in pre-Mongolian times (or literally as means to defend against Mongols), so they have much more European influences (picrel is Polish Kraków). I'm not saying Ruthenians didn't build forts before Mongolians came, but these aren't what defines Russian architecture.

Whatever. Point is that architecture of Moscovian forts (kremlins etc.) is Mongolian in nature, just like Muscovites were Mongolian in nature (that's why Mongols gave them power on their behalf).
Closer to Moscow, more Mongolian influence and since modern Russia is basically continuation of Duchy of Moscow, then it's basically Golden Horde 2.0.
