Genshin is the first gacha game I've played and I still don't understand how people can be bothered to give a single fuck about random new characters who are present for like 1 quest and only promoted for 2 weeks. I like designs but for example you can't seriously say Nefer is on the same tier as somebody like Klee Childe Venti even Itto. Maybe I don't have enough ADHD brain to 'get' this method of spamming characters as content. To me it waters down the game and takes attention away from the shit people would care about more if you weren't running a character design pageant instead of a functional series of stories removed from the impetus of shoehorning literal FotM designs.
