Why do I see so many Masters roleplaying as if they had bought slaves and trained them, with said slaves even having various personalities and quirks, but not a single slave roleplaying as if she had a Master?

I wonder what does it feel to be almost completely sensory deprived for two days straight, unable to move an inch, without access to food or water either. Definitely a good part of the training process. I assume many slaves pledge complete obedience to their new Masters just so they get their basic needs fulfilled, though they do it out of desperation, and as such their promises aren't really sincere. Maybe the Master should take his time to observe the slave's behavior, explain to her the rules of his household, her duties, her purpose. And if the slave pays attention and appears to sincerely agree with everything, and maybe even goes as far as trying to somewhat serve her Master despite her weakened condition, then wait for a few more hours, telling her that the food isn't ready yet (and see if she's eager to cook for herself), and only then finally feed her. If not, then it's probably a good idea to starve her for an another day or two.
