Their is a list of blacklisted topics that will have a thread 404'd near instantly if actual human non glowie anons start posting in.
If the user base is cognizant of what's going on in a thread or generally start saying things that could sway the lurkers to truth the thread will only be archived but it will be pushed to the middle of the catalog so people just scroll past it. And if "dangerous" it gets brigade'd by glowies, sometimes they leave the thread alone(like they are doing right now) and don't brigade the thread as to not raise suspicion.
This has been going on for years.
Me specifically there was a point a little over a year ago where if I posted in a thread it was a instant 404 within minutes every single time(especially concerning topics of history and biblical history).
I eventually made a thread myself (first and only one ever created by me) telling them directly to stop 404ing literally every thread I'm in or id go and become hitler to spite them.
After that thread the glowies/staff immediately stopped 404'ing and switched to archiving for me.
I took a 6 month break like we all do here and there(we're all still sporadically here we are just lurking because most can't get around bans), and now they 50/50 404 or archive...it's less noticeable and not as instant but it's still there(most threads are no longer user made that stopped being a thing during covid).
Btw many of the bots which were much much more numerous and obvious 3+yrs ago up until recently- Well they come from telegram dudes who sell script or whatever that you can buy on telegram that then create threads and post bot posts.
