For once this is mostly what I would actually pick if I (me) were inserted into the setting. I will live a simple agrarian life, practice alchemy. and build a cult/school to collaborate with until there's a reason to come into conflict with other cultivators, when hopefully I and my allies will be in a much stronger position

I've liked most of what I've seen from him a lot. Neolithic Messiah and Wasteland Scion both evoked classic CYOAs in a way that didn't feel too derivative. Realizing that spurred me to finally play this cultivation slop. my opinion on the genre has not changed but this is the most tolerable of them as far as I know
