It's situational. It works for some characters and doesn't for others. I see nothing wrong with Summer Wu (although yes, at least one ascension being loli would have been appreciated), but I think anyone who sincerely wants hag Jack is retarded.

Hag Wu makes sense because she was in her prime and created most of her legacy as an older woman and Fate's interpretation of her as a loli is actually the odd thing, as the game itself points out. Conversely a hag Jack is retarded because her established story specifically goes into why Jack as a figure is unique within the throne, and this particular Jack is specifically made up of thousands of unborn children. Having a hag version of her would make no sense.

As a Cranefag I don't see much issue with a younger Crane. Fate's interpretation of her as being an older women is a logical one based on the legend, but I'm happy to see them experiment with that.

I use Crane, I like her a lot and I think she's great for CQs, but she's not "important". Crane is a servant that enhances what you already have basically. Anything you're doing in a CQ, she will enhance, but it's rare that she's make or break for it, more just nice for consistency or better numbers.

That said I did use her to farm the Tunguska raid because she got my Melusine just over the damage numbers I needed.

Most importantly, I like her as a character and think she's fun.
