no, ive never heard of anyone eating those either but an article i found says that its an islander specialty which makes sense seeing as how dirt poor(and inbred) the islands were historically. article also states that romans ate it as a delicacy which sounds kinda cope-y but i can believe it. we even have an expression for smelly stuff "to stink like a dormouse" so i dont think many croats actively eat it and there is a good chance its just another psyop to raise tourism.
