If people liked nature it was more of a personal and private affair like you just didn’t talk about or make a big deal about liking nature, you either liked it or you didn’t I guess like for some reason you didn’t need to openly express your appreciation of nature you just didn’t do that.

I remember feeling alone because I would find and appreciate small tender moments in nature and I never had anyone to share them with now it’s this big fucking deal, it still feels like this boisterous and extroverted awareness of nature, it’s just irksome I don’t really like it for sure. It’s like some kind of competition, and it seems tyrannical a lot of the time, like there’s all these rules and strict guidelines or expectations for how you’re supposed to enjoy nature and you have to make sure everyone realizes it.

So I don’t know.

I was just kind of thinking, I almost don’t think they should try and help or extend their hand to everybody, like they shouldn’t try to get everybody on board because I think it just ruins it, it’s like western people are these junkies that can’t handle letting go of capitalism and they become these broken down machines or something and they stop working correctly and I guess I just don’t think you should try and help them because they’ll around the harmony and whatever collectivism it is, the same energy they put into capitalism and probably right wing behaviour they’ll come and put it with the same kind of zeal into everything else I think and it’s just terrible

It’s just another reason why I have mixed feelings towards the whole thing.

It’s like they felt they took it on as their duty to try and help everyone like “hey it’s like the east we have to be more collectivist now!11” and they don’t explain that it seems completely reasonable to explain that to people but nobody ever did they just tried to force it on everyone but that’s the thing I think they always get collectivism wrong people never have open discussions
