She served in a unit that evacuated the wounded and dead from Gaza. She saw dead bodies and soldiers with amputated limbs. She has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
But the army is refusing to discharge this 21-year-old career officer, despite the recommendations by mental health experts.
And her mental state has gradually worsened, especially during the missile barrages by Iran in June. During that month, she requested a discharge, but since then the army has piled on bureaucratic obstacles to prevent this and has not been providing her with adequate psychological care, she says.
