Instead, Vance and second lady Usha Vance will travel to Salt Lake City to pay respects to the family of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, a source familiar with the plan told The Washington Post.
Not to be insensitive, but this could have been a phone call. And/or he could have gone to Utah after the 9/11 memorial, later today or tomorrow. This did not need to be an either-or situation.
Did he even make a phone call after the Minnesota Democrats were shot? Did he visit the survivors in the hospital? Visit the grieving families?
Is he planning to go to the school where children were shot yesterday?
