I think the main girl "guinevere" is "android" either 1. controlled by someone, or
2. maybe gains a "upgrade/soul", or
3. maybe was a human and had mind wiped/messed up.
(3 seems most Unlikely)

Clearly some evil dark park, basically like any evil corporation.
Think of a popular evil corporation in a show or game that pretends to be good,
And that is probably what is happening in this show.
