I dunno, from a certain standpoint (particularly in terms of "real BDSM", which isn't really what I'm talking about but it's relevant because the microcosm of ERP still usually at least vaguely resembles the way humans behave sexual as a whole) there's merit to it and I've heard that a lot. If consent is relevant, then the power ultimately lies with the sub. Of course there's more to it than that and there are a ton of both lazy and demanding types, I kinda just wanted to ramble I guess.
