the cartel doesnt kill people randomly, they save the savage shit for rivals and threats. They even protect whites in tourist towns because they make way more money from drunk white people going on vacation than from robbing and ransoming them.
I stayed in a resort in Puerto Peñasco once and some local spic hotel worker stole money from my room, I got it on camera and I showed the video to police (who are cartel owned, I'm pretty sure). The spic just fucking disappeared. Never saw him again. No arrest record, nothing. The hotel refunded me by the end of the day, and they even comped me a bunch of meals and events at the hotel.

Never had justice like that in the US. My car has been broken into 4 times on my block, and the cops never even show up.
