AOS is still very much its own thing, dwarves trying to revive one of their dead gods is pretty unique to the setting, ultimately we just have to wait to see what the new face of duardin will be, before a judgment can really be allocated.

I genuinely think the games better to actually play a game with its core rules than 40k by a LOOOOOOOOONG fucking shot, I gave up 40k somewhere just after pariah nexus and realized that the game is completely at odds with itself. The books that some armies get in 40k, I will admit, do attract more curiosity than I have for some armies in 4th, they do also have the issue of being an issue later down the line but thats another conversation of long-term balance.
Also broken coast is better than crusade, immensely so

I wouldn't want aos to copy off of tow, Maybe it'd be better if they went back to the design philosophy that they had back in 2e, or even 4e 40k, Maybe even took a peak at 3e horus heresy, just a smidge ( im looking at those status here).
